April 2009 began a new chapter in healthcare in the Mahoning Valley. At the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods (formerly the Surgery Center at Southwoods), we now offer stays for our patients. As you recover from surgery, you can enjoy private rooms with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, room service and high-quality linens.

The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods is a partially physician-owned facility that began operation in June of 1996. We believed that physicians, allied healthcare professionals and business leaders could work together to establish a new standard for outpatient healthcare in Northeast Ohio.
